So I've just started here and today we took the kids on a Photo Fieldtrip to a local farm, Hilltop Farm. The place was exquisite! I wish I could have seen it back in the day when it was still a fully functional farm. There were so many cool things to shoot, but I was more focused on taking photos of the kids taking photos. Here are some cool ones of both the farm and some kids.
I first fell in love with photography when I was in high school. It was there that I realized that I not only had a passion for photography but infact I had talent. After being awarded the Photography prize at my high school graduation I started to think that maybe I could make something of this photography thing. The next thing I knew I had enrolled myself in the world renown school, the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. Now I am a graduate of Brooks (March 2008) and living in Northern Connecticut. I teach Multimedia and am the photographer at the prestigious school Suffield Academy. I freelance on the side and when school is out for vacation. I am still very much in love with photography. I feel comfortable in my craft producing consistently good images, and sometimes the conditions I am under are not ideal. I look forward to my many years behind the camera as the few I have had so far have been quite the adventure.
